How do I log in as a parent?

Students will want to have their own device. A Chromebook or other computer will be the best, but a tablet or phone might be able to work in a pinch.

Parents and students log into Beehively to view school schedules, find meeting links, and access grades and news!

  1. Go to Valorschool.org
  2. Select “Current Families” in the upper right
  3. Students – click “Sign in with Google” and use your school email address and password
  4. Parents: Log in with your email address that we have on file.

How do I log in to Google and Gmail?

1) Go to gmail.com.

2) Please use the student’s school email address: firstname.lastname@valorschool.org and default password: Valor123

Helpful tip: Change your password to something more secure!

What is my student's school email address?
Their first name and last name are used to create their email address.

If you applied for Hezekiah Jones, their email would be hezekiah.jones@valorschool.org.

If you applied for Ada Lovelace, their email would be ada.lovelace@valorschool.org.

How do I log in to the course portal?

Log in to Beehively.

Go to the “Resources” of the class.

Click on “Curriculum” or “Course Portal.”

Username: Student school email address
Password: Valor123

You will have to log in the first time, then the site should remember you!

What should I do if I can't log in?
1. Confirm that you are using the correct school email address. (Check your typing – type it again!)

2. Confirm that you are using the default password of Valor123, or your password. If you forget your password, you can select “Reset my password”.

3. If you are not able to reset your password, contact support@valorschool.org and let them know what login is not working for you.

A class is showing up wrong - what should I do?
Let your advocate know! They will get it fixed.
How do I see my daily schedule?

  1. Log into Beehively
  2. Select “Today” in the left menu
How do I view a list of my student's classes this trimester?

  2. Under “Classrooms & Groups”, view the list of classes.
Help, my video is just black and my camera won't work!

1) Leave and re-join the Zoom call from Beehively.

2) Restart your computer/device.

3) Try joining the class from another device (if available).

4) Contact your Advocate and/or teacher and let them know about the issue.

5) If this happens more than once, contact support@valroschool.og and set up a one-on-one meeting to troubleshoot.

My audio isn't working, how do I fix it?
